Department of Biodiversity, Conservation and Attractions

We were engaged to enhance user experience, security and add functionality with their upgrade to the latest R12 version of Oracle E-Business Suite.

The Department of Biodiversity, Conservation and Attractions (DBCA) engaged us to enhance user experience, security and add functionality with their upgrade to the latest R12 version of Oracle E-Business Suite.

The project was delivered within 6 months and resulted in a more reliable and safe system, with a streamlined business process.

The high-level project requirements were:

  • Upgrade current Oracle EBS 12.1.3 to 12.2.11
  • Implement Single Sign On (SSO) using Oracles IDCS
  • Apply DB Hardening for better security features.

We were looking for an experienced IT company based in Perth to deliver the Departments’ Oracle 12.2.11 Upgrade including the implementation of Single Sign On (SSO) and to apply DB Hardening – FA-Tech Australia delivered the project efficiently and on time.

Project Manager Stephen Price guided his experienced and diverse range of IT professionals, managed the upgrade process and the implemented SSO working systematically through issues as they presented; with an efficient, methodical, and practical approach.

Our users across the state are enjoying using Oracle Financials EBS 12.2.11, and more importantly SSO which has not only improved accessibility but also enhanced overall system security. We worked closely with FA-Tech Australia P/L Project manager and FA-Tech Australia IT specialised team, who provided us with practical solutions at each stage of the project. They took time to understand who we are as a Department, had a good understanding of our current IT infrastructure and gave us sound advice on options for Infrastructure requirements and setup moving forward.

We wholeheartedly recommend FA-Tech Australia.
